After thirty years of partnership, the cooperative dairy unions Elnor, Est-Lait, Orlac, Riches Monts, Sully and Ucalm, soon joined by Tempé-Lait, united in 1990 to create Sodiaal.
Thus the Group achieved a solid presence in the primary dairy production sectors: consumer milk, fresh dairy products, cheeses, butter, dried milk, ingredients.
In 2007, in order to adapt operating structure and costs decision-making and economic imperatives, the seven cooperative unions (Elnor, Est-Lait, Orlac, Riches Monts, Sully, Tempé-Lait and Ucalm) agreed to merge into a single entity:thus was born the single Sodiaal Union cooperative.
