Everywhere, every day, any weather
The cooperative guarantees collection from all its members, including in difficult-to-reach areas, for example mountain regions. A specialised fleet of over 300 vehicles handles collection duties 365 days per year. Reducing the number of miles covered is a key issue for the teams, the aim being to guarantee the company's competitiveness and lower the environmental impact. This involves actions such as streamlining collection routes and increasing the capacity of the vehicles.
Preserving the quality of milk from pumping into the tank at the farm to depositing it at the processing plant requires special attention to hygiene conditions. The temperature is of course monitored.
Samples are taken at each producer and upon arrival at the plant so that all of the necessary checks can be made before entering the production process. A nationwide monitoring plan supports the system to provide comprehensive guarantees to clients and consumers, in line with the efforts made by producers.
The cold farm
Ensuring the best preservation conditions
Because the tank acts as the first link in the cold chain at the farm, dedicated teams from the cooperatives handle the installation, maintenance and repair of these tanks. The quality of service provided to the producers is a firm commitment, particularly as far as speed of response and technical skills are concerned.
Practical solutions for producers
Supporting the dairy consulting activity, the Agricultural Suppliers department provides products and services in hygiene, food and supplies to assist the farms, either directly or under partnerships depending on the region. Work carried out in close collaboration with suppliers enables innovative solutions to be provided to the producers. Quality of service is a key issue, resulting in the provision of a broad range of products and fast, effective order and delivery methods.
The dairy consultant: providing day-to-day support
The dairy consultants are field professionals who provide technical support to the producers. Working with the farms on a daily basis, they monitor the quality of milk, volumes and handle administrative procedures. Together with the producers, they conduct preventive actions, help them resolve problems and direct them towards appropriate departments of the cooperative or its partners.
